Scottish Inspired 50 Year Anniversary Ring
Our customer was looking for a special anniversary ring to celebrate 50 years of marriage. Her family are originally from Scotland; therefore, she was looking for a design that reflected her Scottish heritage. We went over designs that are currently on our website, she loved our Trinity Knot Engagement Ring. Her original engagement ring was set with a princess cut diamond; therefore she requested the same shape and gemstone for sentiment reasons.
We provided her with some sketches of what the design would look like with a princess cut diamond. Once the design was finalised, we sent her an image of the design, with her custom specifications.
The lead-time for bespoke design is generally 6-8 weeks, the process involves, casting, finishing, setting, hallmarking and engraving. Each stage has a set time-frame.

We ordered in the diamond specially for our customer, it was a certified 40 pointer, VS1 D- colour, near flawless under the microscope. Larger and higher specification diamonds come with a certificate this was presented to our customer on the day she collected her ring.
Our customer is from Texas, we scheduled her an appointment to collect from the gallery whilst on holiday in Edinburgh, thankfully it fit her perfectly and they were beyond thrilled with the final design.
We loved designing and making this for our customer, it is such a privilege to create something so special.
